Stir Fried Shrimps in Tamarind Sauce or Thai called "Goong Pad Nam Makham Piek" this is sweet and sour recipe, enjoy whole family.
Ingredients
- 5-6 large shrimp
- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- 1 tbsp fried garlic
- 2 tbsp fried red onion
- 2 tbsp palm sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp Maggi Seasoning
- 1 tsp sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp tamarind concentrate
- 3 tbsp warm water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Shell and devein shrimp.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok, and fry the chopped onions until fragrant.
- Add salt, tamarind mixture, chile sauce, Maggi Seasoning, palm sugar, stir together well.
- Add shrimp and cook until done.
- Transfer to serving plate, and sprinkle with fried garlic and fried onion.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
