Stir-Fried Shrimps in Tamarind Sauce (Goong Pad Nam Ma-kham Piek)


Stir Fried Shrimps in Tamarind Sauce or Thai called "Goong Pad Nam Makham Piek" this is sweet and sour recipe, enjoy whole family.

Ingredients
  • 5-6 large shrimp
  • 2 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp fried garlic
  • 2 tbsp fried red onion
  • 2 tbsp palm sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Maggi Seasoning
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp tamarind concentrate
  • 3 tbsp warm water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Preparation:
  • Shell and devein shrimp.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok, and fry the chopped onions until fragrant.
  • Add salt, tamarind mixture, chile sauce, Maggi Seasoning, palm sugar, stir together well.
  • Add shrimp and cook until done.
  • Transfer to serving plate, and sprinkle with fried garlic and fried onion.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
